It is a pleasure to welcome you to IACC 2014 to be held at ITM University during Feb 21-22, 2014. Over the past four years, IACC has grown to be an important international conference in Advanced Computing. It is an honor to preside over the fourth IACC. The conference is organized as a set of tracks in High Performance Computing, Advances in Communication and Networks, Advanced Algorithms, Image & Multimedia Processing, Databases and Data Mining, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Software Engineering and Soft Computing. There are three tutorial programs covering important areas of computing.

The successful organization of IACC has required the talents, dedication and time of many volunteers and strong support from IEEE Computer Society. Special gratitude and appreciation is due the various authors and reviewers as they are primarily responsible for the content of the technical program. All the committee chairs and their team have done an excellent job coordinating with the track chairs and putting together the advanced program schedule. I would like to acknowledge all the organizing team members and local sponsors. Without their outstanding job and nearly one year of planning, we would not have such an excellent conference site. I would also like to thank Prof Prabha Sharma, Mr. Rajesh and Prof Markus Hoffman for taking the tutorial program.

We hope that you will find the conference both enjoyable and valuable, and also enjoy the architectural and cultural beauty of Gurgaon city.
